The Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router delivers enhanced speed, range, and security for all your networking needs which allows you to swiftly stream HD videos, surf, email, play games online, and chat.
This article provides an overview of a Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router child node's web interface and an overview of its settings.
IMPORTANT: The settings are very limited on a child node, all changes should be made on the parent. However, reasons for accessing a child node include the following:
- To check the firmware version
- To do a manual firmware update (if automatic update failed)
- To check or update the Time Zone settings

This screen allows you to view a summary of your child node's settings and firmware.
Configuration
Since all Connectivity settings should be configured on the parent node, the settings on the child node are limited.
On a child node, you can change your Time Zone if needed (it should sync from the parent node). You can also reset the child node or update the firmware manually.
NOTE: The Automatic checkbox is greyed out. To change this setting, do it from the parent node. You can, however, manually update the firmware if needed.
