This article will guide you on how to pause the Internet for a device using a desktop web browser.

Before you begin:

  • You will need to use a computer.
  • The Parental Controls feature uses the MAC address of the device. Most mobile devices have a feature that allows the MAC address to be changed whenever they reconnect to the network. Once you enable Parental Controls, if the rule for the device no longer works, you may need to change this setting on your mobile device. Learn more.
  • To better identify your devices in the network, you can rename them in the Device List first and then configure the Parental Controls.

1. Open a web browser to log in to your router's web interface.

2. Choose Parental Controls from the main menu and turn it ON.

3. Pick a device from the list.
