How to log in to the web interface of the Linksys OpenWRT router

To access your router's web interface, follow these steps:

 

1. Connect your computer to the router's default SSID or connect it directly to one of the ethernet ports using an ethernet cable. You can find the SSID and password at the bottom of the router.

 

2. Open a web browser, enter "https://192.168.1.1" in the Address bar, and hit [ENTER].

If you see a browser error like the one above, use these instructions to continue.

 

3. Enter "root" as the username and use the default password found at the bottom of the router, which is the same as the default SSID password. Click on Login once done.

You are now logged into the router settings.
