The External Storage Tool on the Linksys Smart WiFi Router has a Media Server feature enabling you to stream media files to your DLNA or UPnP®-enabled devices within your network. Follow the instructions below on enabling this feature using your Linksys cloud account.

Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is a standard set by electronic companies to ensure the interoperability of devices within a network. If you have a DLNA Certified® device connected to your home network, it will automatically communicate with other connected DLNA Certified® devices.

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) are protocols for the discovery of devices within a network as well as automatic configuration and data transfer via peer-to-peer connection.
