Setting up the Linksys FGMM1000

The Linksys FGMM1000 5G WiFi 6 Industrial Router features AX1800 speeds ensuring that the overall connectivity in your home remains stable and strong.  Follow the steps below to set up the Linksys FGMM1000.

Before you begin, take note of the following:

 
  • Do not connect or remove the SIM card when the router is powered ON.
  • The default WiFi name and password are located on the router’s product label.
  • Install your router less than 30 m from a base station.
  • Consult a qualified technician for wall-mount installation.
Directions

1. Connect the four antennas to the router.

2. Remove the cover and then insert the SIM card into the card slot until it clicks.


3. Connect the power cord into the power port on the router and connect the other end to a power outlet.

4. Using an ethernet cable, connect your computer to the ethernet port on the router.  You may also opt to connect a WiFi device to the WiFi name of the router.  The default WiFi name and password are located on the product label.

5. Check the lights on the router.  Once all the lights are lit, check if your computer or WiFi device have proper internet connection.

Once you have successfully connected to the internet, you can now connect other clients to the WiFi.
