Mounting the Linksys FGMM1000

The Linksys FGMM1000 5G WiFi 6 Industrial Router is an indoor router that features AX1800 speeds. To know how to wall-mount the router, follow the steps below.

Before you begin, take note of the following:
 
  • It is recommended that you consult a qualified technician for this installation.
  • Gather the mounting kit that came with your Linksys FGMM1000.
  • Do not connect or remove the SIM card when the router is powered ON.
  • The default WiFi name and password are located on the product label of the router.
  • It is recommended to install your router less than 30 m from a base station.

Directions
 
1. Drill the mounting holes precisely by using the dimensions in the provided mounting template.
 
  • Use a 6 mm drill bit to drill the holes in the wall at least 35 mm deep.
  • Insert the two screw anchors into the wall.
 
2. Place M3 screws and flat washers on both sides of the router as shown below. Align the router to the wall with anchors and screws.
 
You have now successfully wall-mounted the Linksys FGMM1000.
