Linksys MX5300, MX4000 series, and MX8500 series light behaviors

The Linksys MX5300, Linksys MX4000 series, and Linksys MX8500 series all have one indicator light at the top. This light has different color behaviors. 

The table below shows the different descriptions of each color.

Blinking
Starting up
 
Solid
Connected to the internet
Purple
 
Blinking
Setup in progress
 
Solid
Ready for setup
Red
 
Blinking
Disconnected or out of range
For child node: The node is too far
For parent node: The node is unplugged from the modem
 
Solid
No internet from the modem
Yellow
 
Solid
Weak connection (for child node only)
White

 
Blinking
Automatic setup or 5-Press Setup Method is in progress

This is only applicable for internet service provider-leased Linksys nodes.
