The Linksys RE7350 can be set up in two modes. These are:
- Access Point or Wired Range Extender (requires an ethernet cable connected to your existing network)

The Spot Finder Technology determines the signal strength of your Linksys RE7350. It lets you know if your Linksys RE7350 is too close or too far from your router. The Spot Finder Technology is only available when your Linksys RE7350 is in Wireless Range Extender mode.
ADVANCED TROUBLESHOOTING
Your Linksys RE7350 does not work because its wireless settings are no longer in sync with the router. Make sure the wireless settings of the Linksys RE7350 in Wireless Range Extender mode are similar to the settings of your router to fix the issue. Learn more.
Access your range extender’s web-based setup page, then go to Status > WLAN Statistics. Use the MAC address labeled as Seen by Upstream AP when your device is in Wireless Range Extender mode.
Yes. Setting up the extender using Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ (WPS) is the quickest way to set it up if the router supports WPS pairing. You will have to repeat the WPS process twice to connect each radio band separately since the WPS pairing sets up one band at a time. Learn more.
If the upstream router is using MAC filtering restriction, make sure to add the extender’s MAC address of both radios from the WLAN Statistics page in the Seen by Upstream AP when in Wireless Range Extender mode.
There are several reasons that WPS could fail:
- Your router and range extender are too far apart
- The 2-minute connection window expired
- The WPS button on either the range extender or the router did not depress all the way
- WPS is disabled on the router
- MAC filtering is enabled on your upstream router
