How to reset or reboot the Linksys Managed Gigabit Switch

The Linksys Managed Gigabit Switches offer a quick and easy solution to extend your office network. The switches feature gigabit speed ports and a web interface for easy configuration and management for networking devices to be located anywhere without the need for alternating current (AC) outlets.

Reset

The easiest way to reset the switch to its factory default settings is to look for its reset button located on the front panel, then press and hold for more than 10 seconds. You can also do it through the web interface of the switch. For instructions, follow the steps below:
 

1. Access the web interface of your switch.

2. Click on the Reset option located at the upper-right corner of the web interface.
 
 
 
3. Click OK.

 

 

You should now have reset the Linksys Managed Gigabit Switch to factory defaults.


Reboot

You can also unplug the power adapter/cord and reconnect it again. To do it through the web interface, follow these steps:
 

 
2. Click on the Reboot option located at the upper-right corner of the web interface.
 
 
3. Click OK.
 

  

You should now have rebooted the Linksys Managed Gigabit Switch.
