How to reset or reboot the Linksys Managed Switch for Business

The Linksys Managed Switches for Business offer a quick and easy solution to extend your office network. The switches feature gigabit speed ports, a web interface for easy configuration and management for networking devices to be located anywhere without the need for alternating current (AC) outlets.

Reset

The easiest way to reset the switch to its factory default settings is to look for its reset button located on the front panel, then press and hold for more than 10 seconds. You can also do it through the web interface of the switch. For instructions, follow the steps below:

 

1. Access the web interface of your switch. For instructions, click here.

2. Click on the avatar of the admin account on the upper-right hand side and click on Reset.


3. Click on Apply to proceed or Cancel to abort the process.
 

Reboot

You can unplug the power adapter/cord and reconnect to reboot the switch. To do it through the web interface, follow these steps:

 

1. Access the web interface of your switch. For instructions, click here.

2. Click on the avatar of the admin account on the upper-right hand side and click on Reboot.

3. Click on Apply to proceed or Cancel to abort the process.
