How to create a Group and User on the Linksys E7350

This article will give you instructions on how to create a Group and User on the Linksys E7350 AX1800 Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router.

 

1. Access the Administration screen of the External Storage feature.  For instructions, click here.

 

2. Uncheck Anonymous Disk Access.

 

 

3. Click Create New Group.

 

 

4. Give your group a name and description then choose read-and-write or read-only and click Create.

 

 

NOTE:  You can also create additional groups as needed.

 

5. Once you have created a Group, click on Create New User.

 

 

6. Create a name for the User, assign a password, and select which Group to put the User in.  Click Create User once you're done.

 

 

7. On the Administration screen, click Save.

 

 

You should now have successfully created a Group and User.  You can now go to the Disk screen to assign groups to your Shares.  For more information, click here.
