Understanding the Linksys Now Instant-Verify settings

Instant-Verify provides an overview of your network status. 

 


 

Instant-Info

 

The Instant-Info tab will provide you with a quick summary of the router.

 

1. Log in to the router’s web interface and click Menu > Instant-Verify > Instant-Info.

Device Info

The Device Info tile displays the following information:

 

  • Current time and date, and uptime
  • Device name with the last five digits of the router’s serial number (Linksysxxxxx)
  • Model series, SKU, serial number, and MAC address
  • Current firmware version, along with CPU and memory utilization
 
Connectivity

Ping Network Settings on the Linksys Now router's web interface, with options to Execute or Close ping test.

 

The Connectivity tile displays the following settings:

 

  • Internet status
  • WiFi status - Go to the Incredible WiFi tile to configure the WiFi settings.
  • WAN IP address and connection settings - To configure the internet settings, DHCP server, or DNS settings, go to  Advanced Settings.
  • Ping tool
  • Traceroute tool

 

Speed Test

 

Run a speed test using CloudFlare or Fast.com.

Internet Port

 

At the bottom of the tab, you will see the physical link of the parent node’s internet port, which can show the speed depending on the device connected to the port.

Instant-Topology

 

In the Instant-Topology tile, you can view detailed information about the arrangement of the nodes and how they are connected to your network. Learn more
