How to change the router password through the Linksys MX4300 (LN1301) web interface
This article will help you change your router’s administrator password through the web interface.
Before you begin:
- Ensure that your computer is connected to the WiFi name of your Linksys MX4300 (LN1301).
- The default password is the same as the default WiFi password found at the bottom of the router.
Directions
1. Log in to the router's web interface.
2. Click on Connectivity under Router Settings.
3. Click on Edit (beside Admin Password).
4. Enter a new password and an optional password hint. Click on Apply to save changes.
5. Click on Yes and then hit Ok.
You should now have successfully changed your admin password.
