Modifying your router's basic WiFi settings is essential for establishing a secure and distinct connection, preventing unauthorized access to personal information.

This article will walk you through the steps in updating your Linksys MX4300’s WiFi settings.

Before you begin:

  • Adjusting the Wi-Fi Settings section will temporarily disconnect all devices from your router. If you alter the WiFi name and/or password, reconnecting your devices with the updated settings will be necessary.

Directions

1. Log in to the web interface of the router.

2. Click on Wi-Fi Settings under Router Settings.
