Guest clients cannot connect to the internet
print icon
If the Guest network is enabled, the clients will run into an issue when connecting through a web browser due to an HTTPS limitation.  The client is not prompted for the guest password on Google Chrome™ and Microsoft® web browsers, therefore the client cannot get online.  To resolve this, follow the steps below.

NOTE: The issue is currently present on Windows® 10 and 11 operation systems.

1. Right-click on the Chrome or Microsoft Edge icon and click on Properties.

NOTE:  You may have to choose Open file location first.

2. In the Target field, append "—ignore—certificate-errors" and click OK.

3. Try accessing the Linksys Guest access webpage.  Then, enter the Guest access password and click on LOGIN.

NOTE:  If you are not taken to the guest password prompt, enter "192.168.33.1" in the Address bar and press [ENTER].

Then, click on Open browser and connect.

You should now have access to the internet.
