If your computer has previously connected to multiple WiFi networks, you may experience connectivity issues, especially when different networks share the same WiFi name (SSID). These conflicts can prevent your device from connecting properly. Removing old or conflicting WiFi profiles may help resolve the issue. This article will guide you through the steps to remove WiFi profiles from your computer.
Removing WiFi profiles or preferred networks cannot be undone. Make sure you know the credentials of your WiFi to be able to reconnect to it.
1. Click on the Windows icon and select Settings.
You can also right-click on the WiFi icon or network icon and click Network and Internet settings.
2. Click Network & internet and then select Wi-Fi.
3. Click Manage known networks.
4. Select the WiFi profile you want to remove and click on Forget.
