EA7250 User Guide

 

Setting up the Linksys EA7250

 

1. Turn ON your Linksys router.

 

2. Connect your router to the modem via the internet port. 

 

  • If you have a separate modem and a standalone router, disconnect and remove your old router.

  • If you have a modem-router, leave it connected.

3. Wait for the light on top of the router to turn solid white.

 

4. Go to LinksysSmartWiFi.com or enter "192.168.1.1" in a browser and hit [ENTER].

 

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the setup.

Changing the WiFi Settings


To change the Wi-Fi settings using the Linksys cloud account, follow these instructions.

Resetting the Linksys EA7250

 

1. Press and hold the Reset button.

 

Press until the light on top of the router starts flashing (about 10 seconds).

 

2. Wait for the light to turn solid white, indicating it is ready to be set up.
