Follow the steps below to log in to the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router's web interface.

Before you begin, take note of the following:

  • The device that you will use to access the web interface should be connected to the router’s network.

NOTE: The default WiFi name for the Linksys Dual-Band routers is Linksysxxxxx (where xxxxx represents the last five digits of the device's serial number). If the WiFi name has been changed, use it instead.

  • If you need to connect to the router using a hardwired computer, connect your computer to one of the ethernet ports of the router.
  • Browser requirement:
    • Latest version of Internet Explorer®, Google Chrome™, Firefox®, Safari® (for Mac® or iPad®), or Microsoft Edge®

Directions

1. Open a browser and follow the instructions below.

  • For Linksys E7350 and E8450: With the latest firmware, an HTTPS connection is required. Enter "https://myrouter.local" for macOS® or "https://myrouter" for Windows®. You can also enter the default IP address of the router "https://192.168.1.1" in the Address bar then press [Enter]. If your router is connected to an existing upstream connection, you can try "https://10.0.0.1" for Linksys E8450, and "https://192.168.10.1" for Linksys E7350.

If you run into browser error messages due to the HTTPS connection, click here to continue.

  • For Linksys E5600: Enter "http://myrouter.local" for macOS® or "http://myrouter" for Windows®. You can also enter the IP address of the router "http://192.168.1.1" or "http://192.168.11.1" if connected to an existing network in the Address bar then press [Enter].

If you changed the IP address of the router, use it instead. If you still can't access the login screen, you need to determine your router's IP address. To do this, make sure you are connected to your router's WiFi.

2. Enter your router’s password, then click LOGIN. The Linksys E7350 is used in the example below.

The router’s default password is admin. If you forget the password, you may manually reset the router to its default settings.

You should now have accessed the web interface of the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router.
