This article provides an overview of the Disk settings of the Linksys E7350 AX1800 Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router.
The USB storage feature is only supported on the parent Linksys E7350 (the router connected to your modem).
To access this feature, follow the instructions below:
1. Access the web interface of your router. For instructions, click here.
2. Under the tab, click on External Storage.
3. Click on Disk.
The table below shows the settings that can be configured under Disk:
Feature | Description |
Disk1 | Below are the default settings when no drives are attached: The Linksys E7350 supports the following file systems: FAT, FAT32, NTFS, and HFS+ journaled and non-journaled. |
Create Share | Click to create a Share on the drive or you can also share the entire partition. For instructions, click here. |
Safely Remove Disk | Before disconnecting a USB disk from the router, click Safely Remove Disk first. This prevents the possible loss of data, which may occur if you remove the disk while it is transferring data. |

Format Disk |
If you would like to format a disk as FAT32, check the box of the disk you want to format then click Format Disk. If your disk was formatted with multiple partitions, then the formatting will delete them and create a single partition. Check the box and click Format Disk. Read the warning and click OK to proceed. Enter a name for the partition then click Format. |

Click to refresh the External Storage screen. |
