This article will guide you in changing the password of your Linksys cloud account using the LinksysSmartWiFi.com page. Before you begin, make sure that your computer is connected to the router's WiFi.

If you need to connect to the router using a hardwired computer, connect your computer to one of the ethernet ports at the back of the router.

Directions

1. Launch a web browser.

2. Enter "https://linksyssmartwifi.com/" in the address bar then press [Enter]. Then, click the Forgot your password? link.

3. Enter the email address you used to log in to your Linksys cloud account. Then, click on Send instructions

Make sure you have access to the email address you provided.

4. A confirmation message will be shown instructing you to check your email.

5. Log in to your email and open the message from the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Mailer ([email protected]).

Make sure to check your junk or spam emails if you don’t see the message in your inbox.

6. Once the message is opened, click on the link provided to reset your password.

7. On the Password Reset page, enter a new password in the New Password field and confirm it in the Confirm Password field. Click Ok to continue.

For better security, avoid reusing the same password for different accounts and instead use a completely new one.

Congratulations! You have successfully changed your password. Click Ok and you may now sign in to your Linksys cloud account using your new password.
