Configuring Guest Access for Linksys Mesh system

Guest Access provides a method to allow others to use your internet connection without revealing your entire network. This enables guests to connect to the internet, but they will not be able to view or reach other devices on your network such as computers, external storage, or connected devices.

This article will give you a step-by-step guide on activating or deactivating Guest Access, creating a guest WiFi name and password, and sharing the login information via email or text message.

Directions

1.
Log in to the Linksys app.

2. Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner and then tap on Guest Network or Guest Access. Some of the menu options will vary by model.

3. Toggle the switch to turn ON Guest Access. Then, tap on the guest WiFi name to change it. Enter your preferred Wi-Fi Name and Wi-Fi Password then tap Save

Only one guest Wi-Fi Name for all radio bands is supported.

4. Tap the share icon if you want to copy or send the WiFi name and password via text message or email.

The Guest Access feature on your node should now be properly configured and ready for connection.
