Resetting your Linksys Mesh node will revert it to its factory default settings. This means that all the customized settings, including the WiFi name, passwords, and security type, will be deleted and will need to be reconfigured.
This article provides instructions on how to reset a node.
Supported models: WHW03 series, WHW01, MX series routers, MR series routers
For Linksys SPNM60, SPNM62, and LN1600 models, follow these instructions.
1. Make sure that the node that you want to reset is connected to a power source and turned ON.
2. Press and hold the Reset button located at the bottom of the device.
The light on top of the node will flash bright red, then it will dim out in three pulses, followed by one last bright red flash. After that, the light will turn OFF. You can now release the reset button. This process takes about 10 - 20 seconds.
3. Once you're done resetting the node, it will reboot, and the light will turn solid purple, indicating that the node is ready to be set up again.
