Disabling the private or random MAC address on your Android device

This article will teach you how to disable the private or random MAC address and revert to your original MAC address on your Android™ device.
 
1. Go to the Settings app on your Android device. 

2. Tap on Connections > Wi-Fi.

3. Tap the gear icon next to the WiFi name of the Linksys router or node your device is connected to.
 
4. Tap on View more.
 

 
5. Tap on MAC address type.
 
 
6. Select Phone MAC to change the MAC address type from Randomized MAC to Phone MAC.
 

 

 
7. Turn OFF your device's WiFi and then turn it ON again.
