Overview of the System Status settings for the Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router

The Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router lets you enjoy the power of Wi-Fi technology.  It delivers enhanced speed, range, and security for all your networking needs which allows you to swiftly stream HD videos, surf, email, play games online, browse, and chat.

The System Status settings on the web interface allow you to view a summary of the router settings of your Linksys Dual-Band WiFi Router. 

Before you begin, make sure of the following:

 

  • Your router has to be properly set up. For instructions, click here.
  • You must be logged in to the router's web interface. For instructions, click here.


The table below shows the settings that can be configured under this feature:
 

 

Feature Description
Router

The Router screen displays details on your Router Information and Internet Connection.

This screen also gives you the option to Release IP Address and Renew IP Address by clicking on the buttons below the IPv4 and IPv6 details.  To retrieve updated information on your router, click Refresh.
Local Network
The Local Network screen displays information about your Local Network and DHCP Server.
 
You can click on the DHCP Client Table to view network clients.
 
Wireless Network
The Wireless Network screen displays read-only information about your Wi-Fi.
 
If you want to make changes, click on the Configuration tab then go to Wi-Fi.
 
Ports
This screen displays information on the Ports that are being used.  To retrieve updated information on your ports, click Refresh.

NOTE:  The information displayed may vary depending on the model of your router.
