To determine that you have the Linksys SPNMX57GC-UK, check the following:
- Default WiFi name: Gigaclear_xxxx (where xxxx is the last 4 digits of the MAC address) printed on the product label
- Product label: SPNMX57
- Packaging label: SPNMX57GC-UK
- Ports 1 and 2 are at 1 Gbps, and port 3 is at 2.5 Gbps

The light indicates the different states and activities of your node.
The Linksys SPNMX57GC-UK has the following default settings:
- The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
- If the upstream device uses the same IP address, the node will automatically use a different LAN IP address to avoid any conflict.
- The default Guest network IP address range is 192.168.3.x.
- The default administrator password is the default WiFi password with the recovery key appended to it, which is located on the product label of the router connected to your modem. Example: e1gktd1xzy90099

- The default WiFi name and password are found at the bottom of the router connected to your modem node. The default WiFi name is Gigaclear_xxxx (where xxxx represents the last four digits of the node’s MAC address).
- The default Guest WiFi name is Gigaclear_xxxx–guest (where xxxx represents the last four digits of the node’s MAC address).
- The Guest network is disabled by default. It can be enabled using the router's web interface or the Linksys app.
- DFS support is disabled by default on the 5 GHz radio.
SETUP AND INSTALLATION

Yes. The Linksys SPNMX57GC-UK supports Automatic Setup via the ACS feature. Once the node is powered ON, plugged into the Gigaclear’s equipment, and detects an internet connection, it will automatically configure itself as the parent node. The light on your node will change from solid purple to blinking white. Once configured as the parent node, the light will turn to solid blue.
There are several ways to add a child node, the easiest method is using the Pair button. Learn other ways to add a child node.
Additionally, a node that is not from Gigaclear may be added to your network so long as it is set up as a child node and not as the parent node.
Yes, you can replace your standard router with the Linksys SPNMX57GC-UK.
The Linksys SPNMX57GC-UK supports the following WiFi security modes:
- WPA2™/WPA3™ Mixed Personal
- WPA3 Personal
- WPA2 Personal
- Enhanced Open Only
- Open and Enhanced Open Only
- Open
Other mesh WiFi nodes may not support WPA3; verify that other mixed Linksys nodes in the network support WPA3. Your devices must also support this option. It is highly recommended to leave the setting to the default. Otherwise, your other child nodes will disconnect from the mesh WiFi network.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE
The node will automatically update when firmware is available.
Manual updates are not supported since firmware updates are approved and will be provided directly by Gigaclear. However, you can click on the Check for Updates button on the router's web interface or the Network Administration > Nodes section of the Linksys app and select a node to see if new firmware is available for your node.

ADVANCED CONFIGURATION
Once the node goes through ACS setup, the admin password changes to the default WiFi password + Recovery Key printed on the product label. If you are unable to log in, click the Reset Password link to recover the password.
To reset your node to its factory defaults, press and hold the reset button for about 6-10 seconds until the light on top of the node turns red, fades, and flashes bright red.
Make sure that a bright red flash, followed by three to four quick faded red pulses, then another bright red flash occur before you release the button.
TROUBLESHOOTING
No. The node supports Automatic Setup. This means when the node is connected from the internet port to the Gigaclear equipment, it will begin to self-configure once it detects an internet connection.
DO NOT attempt to set up the parent node with the Linksys app while the node is undergoing automatic setup, as the Linksys app will not detect the node. Wait until the node is configured and the status light is solid blue before you can use the Linksys app to manage your network.
Yes. So long as the Linksys Gigaclear node is the device connected to your modem. All other Linksys non-Gigaclear nodes can be added as child nodes.
