The hardware version is located beside or beneath the model number and is labeled version, ver., or V. If there is no version number beside the model number on your Linksys product, the device is version 1. If you still have trouble finding your version number, see the complete article to learn more.
Firmware updates are approved and will be provided directly by Community Fibre. Manual firmware update is not supported. Make sure auto-update is enabled on your router to automatically install firmware updates when they are available.
The firmware version can be found on the web interface. Log in to the web interface and go to Router Settings > Connectivity > Basic. Then, click on the drop-down arrow next to Details.
Setting up the Linksys SPNMX20CF
There are several methods to set up this model:
- Automatic setup - This model supports automatic setup for DHCP internet connection types. Once an internet connection is detected, the router will automatically configure itself. Do not use the Linksys app to set up the router.
- Manual setup - This method can be used if the automatic setup did not start, or no internet connection was detected.

1. Log in to the router's web interface.
2. Go to Router Settings > Wi-Fi Settings.
3. In the Wireless tab, click the field you want to change and then click Apply > Ok once done.
Resetting the Linksys SPNMX20CF
1. Press and hold the Reset button for about 20 seconds.
The light on the top of the node will flash bright red, pulse dimly three times, flash bright red again, and then turn OFF. Then, release the reset button and wait for the router to boot up.
2. Wait for the light to turn solid purple, indicating that it is ready to be set up.
